William “Bill” Markov is an associate at the Hoffman Patent Firm and has been with the firm since 2007. Bill knows the patent sales environment and is registered patent attorney licensed to practice law in Arizona and before the U.S. Patent Office.
In 2008, Bill graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. While attending ASU, Bill earned a certificate from the Center for the Study of Law, Science, and Technology, for his extensive coursework in area of intellectual property. Bill also won CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for outstanding academic achievement in international contract law and contingency fee patent litigation. In addition to his academic achievements, Bill also received a pro bono distinction for his work with the Arizona Justice Project.
Bill attended the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and received a Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics in 1998. Bill is a Microsoft Certified Professional and has several years experience in computer networking and database administration.
Bill and his wife, Shelley, are Southern California natives. Their daughter, Layla, was born in 2008.
